Trust Is the Strategy™: Beyond Burnout for Women in Educational Leadership

This dynamic two-part keynote experience explores the powerful connection between trust, well-being, and sustainable leadership. Organizational psychologist and former educational executive Dr. Kasi Lacey, known as “The Trust Doctor”, combines the energy of a keynote with the participation and practical application of a workshop designed specifically for women in educational leadership.

In the first session, Dr. Lacey introduces trust as a critical leadership strategy. Using her Trust Triad™ framework, participants will examine how trust operates across the individual, leader, and organization and how gaps in self-trust, relational trust, or organizational trust can affect confidence, decision-making, and workplace culture.

The second session builds on that foundation by exploring burnout as more than an individual challenge. Rather than focusing solely on resilience, boundaries, or self-care, participants will consider how exhaustion and disengagement may signal a deeper breakdown of trust. Through guided reflection, conversation, and practical exercises, they will identify the trust patterns contributing to burnout and explore strategies for restoring energy and sustaining their leadership.

Together, the sessions equip participants to strengthen self-trust, establish healthier boundaries, lead with greater confidence, and help create school environments where people feel supported enough to thrive.
