Session one (October 3, 9:00 am): Introduction to AI in Education (Zoom - 1 hour)

Description: This session shifts school leaders' perspectives from fearing AI to understanding its presence and importance. Feeling less scared, you will begin to understand how these tools can help you in your role and improve your students' educational experience. You will be excited to learn how to use AI and know how to position your school to capitalize on AI's benefits and mitigate its drawbacks.

Questions answered:

• Why learn how to use AI?
• How to position your school to capitalize on AI's positives and mitigate the negatives.
• What is the recommended approach to AI in Education? Where can I find resources for student guidelines, policy, etc?
• How can we use it as a tool while protecting student data?

Session two (October 10, 9:00 am - hands-on) - How to use AI as a School Leader (Zoom - 1 hour)

• How to use AI in Human Capital.
• How to use AI in Communications.

Session three (October 17, 9:00 am - hands-on) - How to use AI as a School Leader (Zoom - 1 hour)

• How to use AI to help with student behavior.
• How to use AI for business services.
• How to use AI to serve different miscellaneous needs.

Session four (October 28) - Tailored session based on feedback (In-Person). The final session will be divided into two groups: one for secondary school principals and one for elementary principals. The session content will be customized based on your responses to a Google form, focusing on topics you want to learn about that we did not cover in earlier sessions.

• Elementary Session will be 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
